Doria Robinson

Bay Rising Action is endorsing Doria Robinson for Richmond City Council because she is by far the most progressive candidate in this race. Doria is a third-generation Richmond resident who has cultivated community and the beginnings of a just local food system through decades of work with Urban Tilth. In her first term in office, Doria will focus on four main issues affecting Richmond residents:

• Increasing affordable, low-income, and transitional housing
• Sustainable economic development
• Healthy, equitable, and inclusive communities
• Climate resilience and adaptation planning

Doria Robinson has deep ties to local organizing groups in Richmond and we look forward to working with her to advance climate, racial, and economic justice in Contra Costa County.
