Monica Wilson has been a fierce advocate on a variety of issues. She’s now running for her fourth term on Antioch City Council. Most noticeably, she has brought awareness to the issue of human trafficking in the city of Antioch, including through the Red Sand Project. She also helped ban hourly rate hotels in the city of Antioch.
In addition, Monica helped secure funding for homeless shelters in Antioch to the tune of $500,000. Monica worked with advocates to get five trailers from the state, and hired a homeless outreach coordinator. She also supported the city to purchase a motel to convert into transitional housing for the city’s unhoused. Monica has been a fighter for the city of Antioch and will continue to be a leader we can trust and count on.
