November 4: Day of Resistance

Art by Micah Bazant.

Despite the pandemic and deliberate barriers designed to keep us from voting, voters across this country have done our job and turned out in record numbers. The vote count may take longer than usual this year. We don’t know what may happen tonight, but tomorrow we will be out in the streets to defend our democracy and demand every vote be counted. This is a call to everyone – join us, protect the will of the people, and help us build the kind of world that we want together. Come by tomorrow at Frank Ogawa Plaza from 12pm-3pm for a day of resistance. There will be outdoor space for art, banner painting, somatics, info tables, kids activities, action training and more. We’re all in this together.

Again, if you haven’t voted yet, there’s still time! Check out the Bay Rising Action voter guide for our recommendations!
