Vote NO to keep San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin in office.
Chesa was elected by San Franciscans because we wanted a DA who would reimagine our warped criminal legal system and begin to undo the harm it does to low-income communities and communities of color. The recall effort in this special election is funded by venture capitalists, real estate lobbyists, and billionaire conservatives; they do not come from, represent, or protect our communities. In fact, the effort to recall Chesa is about keeping us stuck in the status quo of harsh punishments, racist policing, and mass incarceration so that they can hold on to their power. Our communities will continue to stand with Chesa because we know this is about more than one person: this is about standing up to a system that disproportionately harms Black, Indigenous, and other communities of color, and forging safety for all of us.
We must come together now to reject the dangerous and disempowering recall effort against Chesa Boudin, just as we came together as Latinx, Black, Asian, and white voters a year and a half ago to beat the odds and vote Boudin in. Please join SF Rising Action in turning out voters to vote no on this recall by June 7th. We’ll be knocking doors and calling voters in San Francisco.
