Bay Rising Action endorses this measure, which would create a Student Success Fund that would give up to $60 million in grants to schools in the San Francisco Unified School District. The money will be used to fund support programs, summer learning opportunities, and school nurses and psychologists. San Francisco already collects more property taxes than the state threshold for public school funding. This proposition would put the excess tax revenue towards the Student Success Fund.
If we want our communities to thrive, we must invest in our schools and give students the tools to succeed. Vote YES on Prop G to support students, school staff, and education in San Francisco.
