Measure QQ – Allow 16- and 17-year-olds to Vote for School Board

Oakland

In a year where young people fought and won to make their schools safer by eliminating police in schools, youth are leading all over Oakland. Our young people are the most affected by the decisions of the school board, and they should have a say in who represents them. This measure allows persons aged 16 and 17, who would otherwise be ineligible to vote under state law, to vote for school board.
