Vote Yes

John Avalos

San Francisco Board of Supervisors District 11

Avalos previously served two terms as Supervisor from 2008-2016, and is running for election this year. During his time as a Supervisor and Budget Chair, Avalos did a superb job protecting vital social programs during the 2009 recession, and kept the District affordable for its diverse families. While incumbent Supervisor Safai will have a big war chest from real estate developers, his pro-luxury development agenda for the last 4 years has resulted in the District becoming unaffordable for many residents. We strongly endorse Avalos!
