Proposition C – Create a Homelessness Oversight Commission

Prop C creates a Homelessness Oversight Commission to oversee the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing and requires the City controller to conduct audits of homelessness services. With an annual budget of about $700 million, the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing is the largest city agency that doesn’t have an oversight body.
