Measure I – Improve Representation Through District Elections

Santa Rosa

The legacy of segregation in our cities has led to concentrated wealth in certain neighborhoods, and allowed whiter, wealthier neighborhoods to dominate city councils. District elections allow working-class communities and communities of color to elect leaders who represent us, ensuring that every section of the city, regardless of wealth or race, is represented. This measure would ensure that district elections are the law of the land in Santa Rosa.
