Measure DD – Fund Child Care & Good Jobs by Taxing Office Space

As corporations move into South San Francisco, cost of living including child care continues to escalate, and working people are having a hard time getting by. In addition, jobs in the child care industry are underpaid and undervalued. This innovative measure provides answers, by funding child care for local young people, funding good jobs for local child care workers, and paying for it through a tax that asks the wealthy corporations that take up the most office space to contribute more.
